🧪 👩🏻‍🔬 Within the framework of International Day of Women and Girls in Science we hosted Erandi's STEAM Party at the Mexican Cultural Institute in DC. Through this workshop we aimed to introduce girls and boys to the world of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) through the construction of a robotic car and the discovery of the science of color in a collaborative and creative learning environment.

✨ We are greatful for all the support and lovely feedback we recieved. Thank you to the staff of the center for giving us the opportunity to bring this workshop; as well as our volunteer team for making this event possible!

🗓 We can't wait to see you again in June for a second round of the STEAM Party!

ES: En el marco del Día Internacional de las Mujeres y las Niñas en la Ciencia, organizamos el taller Erandi’s STEAM Party en el Instituto Cultural Mexicano de DC. A través de este taller, nuestro objetivo era presentar a las niñas y niños al mundo de STEAM a través de la construcción de un coche robótico y el descubrimiento de la ciencia del color.

We are happy to announce that our co-founder and CTO, Miroslava Rodríguez @mirosrs_ was selected as a semifinalist in the CATALYST Asia-Pacific: Advancing Women in Innovation competition. Catalyst is an initiative of GIST, @gist_net (U.S Department of State's Global Innovation Through Science and Technology). So this weekend she will be traveling to Bangkok, Thailand to represent our Edtech project @erandiaprende. We thank @halcyoninspires for all the support received to prepare us for this event!
